About Eli Tannenwald

I am a third-year student at Stanford Law School passionate about civil rights and criminal defense. Last summer, I worked both at Paul, Weiss (focusing on white-collar criminal defense) and the Santa Clara County Public Defender. The summer before, I worked at the Institute for Justice and focused on their Project on Immunity and Accountability.Outside of law school, I coach the Stanford undergraduate mock trial team. In my free time, I play pick-up basketball, go thrifting, and waste time on fantasy football—though I did win the Stanford league my 1L year.
