Hello! My name is Eli Ternovits, and I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a focus on Applied Movement Science. As a dedicated member of the Kinesiology Club, I actively engage in activities and discussions related to my field of study. I am passionate about kinesiology because I believe people can be directly benefitted by understanding the science of motion. My background as an athlete taught me that proper training and understanding of the body enhances performance. I was a highly competitive ice hockey player and a cheerleader and additionally have gained experience coaching youth ice hockey and fostering teamwork and skill development in younger athletes. These experience directly contributed to my enthusiasm.Beyond athletics, I have always been deeply committed to philanthropic endeavors. I have contributed to medical research projects and volunteered at an animal shelter, demonstrating my passion for making a positive impact on both human health and animal welfare.
