My responsibility is to manage projects of which activities spans from working with the project designers through working with craft men. In order to effectively implement my duty, I have to understand the full detail of the project function; take for instant, in the installation of a power plant; clear and detailed knowledge of the power generators (Hydro, solar, gasifier, diesel, gasoline, LPG, LNG, or windmill) has to be obtained from the original equipment manufacturers and in some intricate cases, a direct link is established between me and the design team as to effectively maximize the potentiality of the power generator.The generators required conducive operating environment that meets all security and safety prescriptions of which engages me to work along with architects, civil engineers and vendors as to establish a conducive operating environment; the power transmission and distribution partners me with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers and tradesmen like electricians and mechanics.Record keeping and the management of project budget always makes my day end with an office hangout with a book keeper and data secretary.Therefore, my job starts from the very beginning of a project phase through an entire project period and terminates with commissioning making my presence relevant in an entire project life cycle.

• Substation, Katampe; Location: Abuja, Nigeria; Project status: Completed 2003; Project characteristics: Design, procurement, construction & commissioning of 2x150MVA, 330/132kV and 2x60MVA, 132/33kV SG with double bus-bars and 1 1/2 CBS. Connection to new 330kV and existing 132kV transmission line. Construction of residential houses for operational and maintenance staff.• Substation, Central Area (GIS); Location: Abuja, Nigeria; Project status: Completed 2004; Project characteristics: Design, procurement, construction & commissioning of GIS substation, 2x60MVA, 132/33kV SG with double bus-bars and 1 1/2 CBS. Construction of residential houses for operational and maintenance staff.• Replacement of distance protection relays; Location: Nigeria; Project status: Completed 2005; Project characteristics: Replacement of distance protection relays in 11 Grid power plants and substations in various country areas • Transmission line, Shiroro – Abuja; Location: Abuja FCT, Nigeria; Project status: Completed 2005; Project characteristics: Construction of 330kV DC Transmission Line, 150km long, conductor type – twin bundle ACSR “BISON”, steel lattice towers, average span 400m. • Distribution line, 33kv DC, Apo substation – Abuja International Airport; Location: Abuja, Nigeria; Project status: Completed 2008; Project characteristics: Turnkey project – Construction of 33kV DC distribution line, 44km from Apo Substation to Abuja International Airport• Transmission line, Egbin – Benin / Egbin- Ikeja West & Egbin substation extension; Project status: Completed 2009; Project characteristics: Design, procurement, construction & commissioning of 330kV DC transmission line 28km long, conductor type – twin bundle ACSR “BISON”, steel lattice towers, average span 400m.Design, procurement, construction & commissioning of 2 additional line bays in 330/132kV substation at Egbin

• Training of transmission and distribution technicians- electricians, linesmen, mechanics, meter readers, fabricators and masons.• Supervision of transmission and distribution technicians.• Designing and scheduling installation and maintenance activities using Gantt chart.• Keeping field technicians highly motivated by measuring works and making recommendations for compensations to the Lead Field Engineer.• Reading and interpreting engineering diagrams to field technicians• Participated in over 66KM aggregate transmission and distribution network which includes:o NEPA power supply to CNL hospital and recreation center; Location: Oworonoshoki / Gbagada, Lagos Nigeria; Project status: Completed 1999; Project characteristics: Project consisted of laying of 33kV underground cable network (cable type 3x150mm2 XLPE/SWA/PVC) between NEPA’s 132/33kV substation at Oworonshoki and 33/11kV, 2MVA substation at CLN at Agbada as well as all civil, electrical and mechanical works on the SS.o Distribution Line Aja – Lekki; Project status: Completed 2000; Project characteristics: 33kV DC Distribution Line, 20km long, conductor type – ACSR “Bear”, steel lattice towers and steel pole

• Monitoring and maintaining voltage and phase levels and availability for the3-phase manufacturing machines.• Maintenance of in-house transformer and industrial machines.• Installation of new machines and interpretation of machine function and literatures to in-house technicians.• Managing the day to day activities of the company technicians and also, benchmarking technicians’ skills knowledge and skills.• Designing maintenance schedules and assigning duties.• Leading maintenance team in failure analysis.• Recommending best maintenance practices to the factory manager.• Liaising with external maintenance team and reporting all maintenance activities to the factory manager, copying head office (Admin.
