I live by that motto. Helping others by coaching and training them is my passion. Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed many opportunities to provide training and coaching to employees. To this day, that is one of my favorite things to do at any job I hold.For over 18 years, I’ve worked in the sales/retail industry. During this time, I accumulated a great deal of knowledge. I have a big heart, so I love sharing that knowledge with anyone who needs it. Whether it’s a customer who needs to make an informed buying decision or an employee that needs information, I feel that knowledge does me no good unless I share it. I like to share in a way that is accessible to people, so it’s not “my-word-is-law” type of sharing, but real nuggets that come from many years of learning and experience. There is nothing I find more rewarding than helping them “get” it for the first time. I really enjoy working in a team environment. I’ve managed several teams during my career. As a manager, I enjoy letting the people I manage work through problems on their own to come up with their own solutions while being present as a guide or mentor if they encounter any challenges. One way that I encourage my teams to excel is by asking questions and leading them to an answer, allowing them to come up with the solution. I foster people’s capabilities, so they can achieve their highest potential.I’m an avid learner, and I still have as much energy and enthusiasm as I did in my youth, although now it’s tempered with experience. I am eager to always keep learning new things. I feel that if you are not learning, you are dying. I’m a hardworking, caring individual who wants nothing but the best for both my customers and company. I work as hard as I can every day to make sure people feel like they received some value out of their interactions with me through the day.
