As part of the Core Team, my job as a Front-End Software Engineer is to work with my team to build a template type app that can be used by the various brands here at Nerd. The primary objective of the Core Team is to provide the brands with a well designed, customizable, and fully functioning application that can be made their own, with rapid integration and deployment. Some of the main features include: user authentication, wallet setup and initialization, shopping and payments, profile management, and notifications/settings.

Lead engineer on Q's new e-commerce website. Designing and building a custom headless PWA on the Magento 2 platform using React, TypeScript, Gatsby, GraphQL, Styled-Components, GitHub CI/CD, and Firebase. Beta launched with a successful opening weekend handling over one quarter of a million in sales, not to mention the overjoyed users with the new shopping experience.

As the sole developer, I was responsible for, well, everything. During my two years of employment, I worked on a number of projects including building a mobile app in React Native, a React website for displaying Facebook analytics, and custom WordPress plugins. Details of each project listed below.Infragauge (mobile app) - Stack: React Native, Redux, Node.js, AWS, MongoDB (later replaced with Firebase), and Facebook auth. Familiarity with native built tools XCode and Android Studio.Features: The app would calculate the volume of oil tanks from an image taken with a FLIR camera attachment. Data was stored, compiled, and displayed over time. Geolocation used to identify nearby tanks and potential hotspots.Scrunch.io (website) - Stack: React, Redux, Facebook API/auth, Github CI/CD, and Digital Ocean (deployment).Features: The site would pull posts from a users FB (Page) in a given date range, and display the individual and cumulative metrics of said posts allowing the user to filter/sort-by post type, views, shares, link clicks, likes, etc. YeetVid (wordpress plugin) -Stack: React, PHPFeatures: The plugin detected if the user had AdBlock enabled and would then display a monetized video or one from youtube.

I make sure that all day to day operations of the school flow smoothly. I provide teachers and staff with whatever then need to help them be successful. Whether it's installing locks on doors, helping paint parking lots, providing input to ensure student safety, keeping the grounds orderly and presentable, installing countertops, repairing elevators, maintaining and fixing equipment, and any other problem that each new day brings, I'm the guy they call. Always willing to jump right in and make things happen.

Some responsibilities: 1. Repinning all locking doors for use with a new key. 2. Cut, check, and tweak each copied key to ensure smooth operation. 3. Door equipment installs. Done with precise measurements, drill sizes, etc. Always on point.4. Gaining access to houses/cars/offices for locked-out and distraught customers. 5. Access Control system installation. I design, I install, I setup, I test and then I teach.
