Conducted legal research on the constitutionality of GPS monitoring as a condition of juvenile probation. Wrote motion to seal felony juvenile records of an adult client.

Wrote bail motions and motions to suppress evidence, dismiss informations, and reduce felonies to misdemeanors. Visited clients in custody. Assisted in preparing a client for testimony at trial by drafting and posing potential cross-examination questions. Transcribed body-worn camera video and client jail calls for use in preliminary hearing and trial. Assisted a felony attorney in trial from voir dire to closing argument.

Planned and convened the Bronx School Justice Working Group monthly meetings with officials in the Department of Education Office of Safety and Youth Development, NYPD School Safety Division and NYPD 44th Precinct. Facilitated community-led trainings of School Safety Agents on the School-to-Prison Pipeline. Grew membership through canvassing, door-knocking, and home visits. Developed member leadership through trainings on restorative justice, campaign development, and political education. Wrote monthly newsletter for membership and funders and all press advisories.

Studied Talmudic and Biblical texts in the original Aramaic and Hebrew, as well as works of Jewish philosophy. Served as high school teaching assistant twice a week, facilitating small groups in Talmud and Bible classes. Organized and lead text-based discussions with groups of adults in the broader New York Jewish community.
