ARCHES, a program under the Disability Resource Center (DRC), provides academic support services for Cal Poly Pomona’s students with disabilities. It is committed to enriching student experiences by providing academic and personal support to help facilitate graduation. As a writing peer tutor, I meet with ARCHES participants weekly in 1-on-1 sessions in a virtual and/or in-person format. I utilize technology and traditional learning aids to help students develop effective learning techniques and study strategies.

For University Housing Services at Cal Poly Pomona, I independently coordinate and oversee high level special projects for the Business Services Leadership Team. I assist with outreach and recruitment of new students by providing tours and promoting benefits of on-campus housing.

I actively participated in assigned courses and assisted with reading, writing, and study habits. I also facilitated weekly individual and group tutoring sessions in person and via zoom. Within the Success Center at Chaffey College, I collaborated with administrators, staff, and faculty to discuss daily strategies for English 1A courses.
