I am a software engineer and independent game developer. I am involved in many small programming projects in a variety of different fields, subjects, and languages on GitHub. I do these personal projects as hobbies, for practical use, and to keep myself sharp with knowledge I may need in my career.For examples, I may rewrite a series of python scripts for processing videos with deep learning model because the original author's script had uncaught exceptions and inefficient performance. I may rewrite a Lua addon for an MMO game because the game developers changed the API. I may add gamepad support to an open-source game that only had keyboard controls.I'm working on my own game engine and game for my own satisfaction. I could already build very small and simple games with existing game engines and targeting mobile devices and web browser, but game development is my art and my art is complex, meaningful, and fun.
