Currently enjoying my time as a Project Manager in construction, my true passion & a stepping-stone for a bright future. The road to get here has been built through perseverance, determination, hard work, lots of questions & a firm vision. Finding the right people that can mold me to become the perfect diamond in the rough has been critical for my development. Hoping to continue my journey towards my vision with the help of individuals that can teach and encourage my curiosity, ability to learn, and most importantly have patience to teach. This is the “About” section so allow me to share a bit of my story. Education has always been my thing. Straight A student, always curious, always asking questions, always analyzing and most importantly, always trying to build relationships that last a lifetime. Heart broken when my immigration status, finances & responsibilities have found a way to stop my thing; after all, I love learning. But not all learning has to be done through traditional schooling, that’s what I kept telling myself. I have learned from Entrepreneurs, Economists, Business Owners and so many more amazing employers. This is where my education comes from; education I consider the same, if not, more important than traditional schooling. Everyone around me has stated I have an ability to comprehend, analyze, manage and figure out solutions to problems that had no solutions. Improving systems, developing people, building training regiments/procedures & the occasional office party planning has been the most common aspects of my management path. Began my journey in managing since I was 18 and never looked back. At first, just like with anything new, I was uncomfortable. 18 years of age and needing to manage individuals that are much older meant I had to become a great leader, fast. It has continued to be the same throughout my career as I always end up being the youngest manager in the companies I’ve had a pleasure to work for. Learning from individuals 100x smarter than me and transfer that knowledge to the individuals I get a chance to manage. I love leading by example, helping develop people into individuals with bright futures; that one day can replace me, get a project done efficiently or help other companies accomplish difficult bumps. I am proud to be Mexican, born and raised. However, by now, I have lived and am more accustomed to the American side of my life.
