Developing a reinforcement learning algorithm to optimise dynamic pricing strategy for Autonomated Vehicles integrated into Mobility as a Service.

Working with a renowned electric power systems scientist and regulator - Professor Pérez-Arriaga on an interesting initiative - The African School of Regulation at the Florence School of Regulation.

In the lead up to COP26, I collaborated with other professionals and developed a strategic implementation plan to involve the youth in Ghana in solution-based approaches to supporting climate change actions. This strategy forms a key part of the UK Government’s effort to elevate climate actions in Ghana. It involved a number of events and activities directed at supporting Ghana achieve its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) - with the aim of getting the Ghanaian youth to drive the agenda.I volunteered for this position.

Researching on energy transition in Sub-Saharan Africa with focus on market designs (regulation and competition) for a smooth transition to renewable energy.

Collaborated with other researchers on a joint research project on International Energy Transition between the United Nations and the University of Dundee.Analysed energy policies, regulations and initiatives implemented by some Sub-Saharan African countries to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable energy sector. I presented a report on 'The Comparative Policies Analysis of Energy Transition in Africa: A case study of Ghana, Kenya and South Africa' at the International Academic Conference in Poland on May 21, 2019.

Participated in the ESRC/DFID sponsored joint research project on China’s National Oil Companies Investment and Economic Development of African Oil Producing Countries as the field investigator. The project involves investigators from the Open University – UK, University of Dundee – UK, and the Africa Centre for Energy Policy – Ghana.Coordinated the CEPMLP Visiting Speaker Series and published weekly news reports on key issues discussed by academics and industry experts during the seminar. I also assisted in the organisation of the annual Dundee Energy Forum in 2018.

Participated in the ESRC/DFID sponsored China’s National Oil Companies Investment and Economic Development of African Oil Producing Countries as the field investigator.I participated in a joint research project sponsored by the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute (CIRDI) to assess the economic and developmental impact of Newmont's Community Development Agreements in Ghana. This project involved researchers from Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University – Canada, the CIRDI, and ACEP – Ghana, which I represented as a field investigator and also contributed significantly to the research report.Conducted financial audit, project appraisal and value for money analysis on government projects.

Developed and managed a marketing strategy and plan for all educational and leadership training programmes of LeadAfrique International and increased our client schools from 4 to 12 within a period of 6 months.Coordinated the activities of 8 Client Service Partners within Accra West to ensure effective delivery of LeadAfrique’s educational and leadership programs.Developed and maintained proactive, positive and professional relationships with all LeadAfrique stakeholders including partner schools, private sector actors, government institutions and civil society organisations.

Performed timely audit on royalties owed by shipping companies operating within the Port, which led to the retrieval of substantial outstanding payments from defaulted companies.Performed internal control testing and reported on risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified together with recommendations directly to the senior audit manager.

1. Conduct tax inspection exercises to ensure Large Tax Payers file appropriate tax returns to the Revenue Auhority.2. Clean taxpayers Ledgers.3. Vet taxpayers returns and prepare tax clearance certificates.4. Led a team of tax officers on a tax monitoring and investigation exercises and identify a difference of about 40% between the actual tax due to the government of Ghana and what was being paid at the time by some Large Taxpayers. As a result, from 2010 onwards, the companies were made to pay the actual tax due to the Government of Ghana.
