I am proud to go to what Niche.com and other judges have called the best high school in Minnesota, where I'm anticipating to graduate as an AP Scholar with Distinction due to the 8 college level classes I've taken, with more to come! I’m also a part of the Vantage program, which has helped me get into the real world as fast as I can. With the program, I’ve been given the opportunity to work with real companies and improve at things that really matter to me. I’m also very passionate about government, which is why I'm taking AP Government and the Vantage Public Policy strand. My goal in life is to meaningfully help as many people as I can, and the best way I see to do that is through lawmaking. It’s important to me to get experience before I jump into anything, so along with doing my own research, I am interning with my local representative to help guide her campaign through the midterms and learn what it really takes to achieve success. Anything I can do to further my goals is something I embrace!I’m proud to be known for my leadership and charisma, two things which helped me get into the Minnetonka Student Government. I can easily work with groups and keep us smooth and efficient, while having a good time. These traits help with public speaking, which is one of my loves. I’ve been proud to practice this skill by representing Minnetonka Schools at various local hotspots, as well as celebrating and representing the diversity of our student body as the President of the long-established Men of Color group. Any opportunity I have to talk to a group about something I’m passionate about is an opportunity I’ll take. I've been especially honored and humbled to demonstrate this by being called back to speak at the National Blue Ribbon Award Ceremony for Minnetonka Middle School West.
