● Designed, implemented and rolled out a feature to automatically onboard target users to Uber for Business profiles, contributing over 20,000 profiles a day. An over 50X increase from the existing initiative● Used AthenaX to filter Kafka events, implemented a Kafka Consumer Proxy and a gRPC endpoint to process the events and integrate with secure payment services. Set up rate limits, alerts, metrics and retry configurations● Controlled roll out using feature flags, shadow rollout and monitoring internal data

● Refactored the screen where riders are able to view their reservation details on. A screen shared across 4 partner teams and 5 reserve products, averaging 4 req/sec.● Reduced the number of calls made to the service to get trip information by 50%● Lowered the backend latency for mobile pushes for the screen in 27%● Optimized external gateway calls by refactoring them to a parallel flow● Added metrics and alerts for internal data visibility, wrote unit tests for all partner teams and worked on code quality tasks and cleaning unused legacy code

Introduction to Research Abroad Program (IRAP) 2022● Led an interdisciplinary, international and interscholastic group of 8 students for 4 months to carry out and develop a Research Proposal focused towards solving social and environmental problems in both Texas and Yucatan.● Proposed the research "Comparing electricity use between sustainable (UPY) and traditionally built universities' (UADY, TAMU) classroom buildings to identify cost-saving energy measures".● Presented the poster at the Texas A&M Univeristy campus.● Assisted to talks from researchers from Texas A&M to understand the impact that research has in the today world from a wide variety of disciplines.
