Safe Communities of Madison-Dane County, a non-profit coalition that works to prevent injury, is where I apply my skills and passion as an Operations Administrator. I collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.I hold a bachelor's degree in Community and Nonprofit Leadership, with a focus on Criminal Justice, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My academic background aligns closely with my passion for mental health, substance use, and criminal justice reform, and I believe in the power of advocacy and education to drive positive policy and social change in these areas.As a Certified Peer Specialist, I also manage Serenity Homes Sober Living, where I support individuals on their journey to recovery. Additionally, I volunteer on the board of directors for Journey Mental Health, furthering my dedication to mental health advocacy and community support. Despite the seriousness of my work, I firmly believe that having fun is essential in life! You can often find me playing volleyball, practicing yoga, or enjoying quality time with loved ones. Balancing work, study, and leisure allows me to recharge and approach each day with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
