In my current role, I collaborate with subject matter experts from industry and higher education specializing to develop engaging content/curriculum within the Universal Design Learning format, to meet the needs of a diverse community of learners while meeting or exceeding accessibility guidelines. I am grateful to work on a variety of projects to support academic offerings through the Office of Talent Strategy (Non-Credit) departments such as Workforce Innovation, Accelerated Training Center, Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), Formula / Human Milk Technician Certification as well as contribute to in cross-college projects meeting students "where they are" and fulfilling the mission of Columbus State Community College.Before joining Columbus State, I worked at the University of Cincinnati where I:-Served on the University of Cincinnati Instructional Innovation team as an Senior Instructional Designer within the Center for Excellence in eLearning. -Partnered with faculty and staff through UC Clermont, Academic Affairs, as the Director for Instructional Design & eLearning (IDeL), 2016-2018, responsible for course design and development as well as instructional/learning project teams. -Developed effective storyboarding process to streamline creation of instructional light board videos. -Established technology "Jam" sessions with faculty and staff and the UC Clermont eText initiative culminating in the eText: Applied Anatomy and Physiology A Concise Text and Lab ManualPrior to UC, I taught Computer Courses for the Adult Workforce Division at Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools. Instructional design partner for the Adult Workforce Cybersecurity Specialist Program, 2018. Also, I design and provide professional development courses, as needed, for EFCTS-AWD.I bring extensive curriculum/content design, learning experience development, assessment expertise and teaching experience to collaborative partnerships having developed and delivered courses while serving on higher education, workforce education and professional development projects to deliver effective, inclusive and accessible site-based, HyFlex or online learning opportunities that support all learners.
