My career started in a small international company by learning about foreign trade and continued in the international transportation area. Later all this knowledge carried me to another level and I have worked for twelve years in different positions in one of the well-known private schools in Turkey.However, this was not enough for me and I embarked on a solo self-sustained bicycle tour in October 2012. I still do remember that lovely mild October morning in Oviedo, Florida where this journey started. Thenceforth I have crossed 17 countries in the Americas. One must act, not just dream.Although this bike journey that I have made with self-support seems like a stance against corporate life, it reveals my strong personality and effective communication skills with people, which enable me to survive in different cultures, geographies, and climates. I believe that by combining the experience that my journey has given me with my existing corporate life knowledge, I will contribute to the institution I will work for from now on. Currently, I am residing in Istanbul, Turkey working on my book/webpage, and preparing podcasts.
