Gain information about the target user in the design process of new products, product-user-centered information is the spurce of commercial success. This acquisiton design process for whom why and how to information including as it creates a "user-centered" approach is the basis. User-centered approach to the design process the target consumer's current and future desires wishes and expectations by setting the "user-oriented-utilitarian" product/service aims to be able to get the results. User-centered-design in cooperation with the target users, for the users to be able to get the results utilitarian items, can be defined as a method referred to gather information about the user. User-centered-design the target users, collect data, create new ideas in the initial stage of new product design process, is to provide feedback to the advanced stages. Designed fort he user to acquire the knowledge of organized firms engaged in the design of qualitative and quantitative research methods, the benefit for user of the product makes it possible to develop. Ensuring co-operation between the designer and the user in the process of product design, survey, interviews, observation, focus groups, user stories (fictional character, a scenatio leading user, video, collage etc.). Such as literature, emphasized the importance of the contribution of a variety of user research methods and techniques. Presented in this study, children's furniture manufacturing companies serving the structure of product development, design, user research methods of the discipline, and in the process of product design focuses on the application forms. The research undertaken as part of this industry, furniture manufacturing industry in Turkey constitutes an important place in terms of economic size. Therefore, manufacturing companies serving this area, user research methods utilized in the design process models and good design leadership to achieve outcomes in line with product analysis is intended.
