Kalyon Tourism Group started its tourism operations through the inauguration of Kalyon Hotel in Istanbul in 1967 and continued its investments with the opening of Reji Event Venue an event venue in Istanbul and Kalyon Tourism Travel Agency and DMC. The group's second hotel opened in Cesme in 2015 and further hotel projects continues in Miami, Florida.

Reporting to a Board of Directors representing the government, sector institutions and private sector,Creating all sales and marketing strategies to promote Istanbul to generate new business opportunities, Creating and generating additional funds for the Bureau’s projects and marketing activities from the governmental, semi governmental and private enterprises,Representing ICVB in a range of international workshops, business exchanges, sales calls and road shows,Organizing Turkey’s stands and exhibits at international meeting industry trade fairs in coordination with the ministry of tourism,Liaising with different advertising agencies for the production and design of all promotional materials, films, ambassador programs, delegate boosting kits and digital marketing tools for the destination.Representing Turkey and Istanbul at international industry organizations like; ICCA, ECM, PCMA and MPI,Conducting and coordinating a wide range of activities including the preparation of bid documents, organization of inspection visits, hosting decision-makers in Istanbul,Management and implementation of lobbying efforts,Liaising with media to secure the publication of articles and special destination files about Istanbul in international magazines,Advocacy of convention tourism in Turkey and helping for the creation of CVBs in other destinations of Turkey and supporting them to promote their destinations,Speaking at conferences and symposiums, teaching classes on congress tourism and destination marketing,Coordinator of the Istanbul Leading Congress Destination Project. Funded by Istanbul Development Agency financial support program the project partners are Tourism Education and Development Association, Istanbul Convention & Visitors Bureau and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. The project budget is around 350 thousand Euros. The project involves the creation of a new logo, destination film, congress tourism web site in five languages and promotional kit.

Dedeman Hotels and Resorts one of the largest hotels chains in Turkey operates and manages hotels all around Turkey. From 1997 to 2000, in charge of openings of Dedeman hotels in several cities of Turkey.
