Prior to joining the Ducera team in 2023, I was a founding member of the restructuring advisory practice at Baird. I was also a member of the restructuring group at Lazard from early 2018 to early 2022. I worked on deals in several sectors while at Lazard, including power / utilities, consumer / retail, healthcare and energy.From 2015 to 2017, I was on the investment team at Z Capital Partners where I focused on opportunities in multiple sectors, including hotels, gaming, media, publishing and retail. I oversaw our investments in the Waldhaus Flims (Switzerland), Carillon Miami Beach, Daily Racing Form and our gaming exposures. Further, I authored our weekly research publication and quarterly investment letters that we provided to investors. From 2013 to 2015, I worked at Blackstone in the Restructuring and Reorganization Group where I advised both debtors and creditors in bankruptcies and distressed situations. Graduate of Columbia Business School in 2013.From 2006 to 2011, I worked in private equity at Colony Capital, a global real estate private equity firm with both opportunistic funds and a distressed credit platform. I worked on several large LBO transactions within the real estate, hospitality, energy and consumer goods sectors. Within the distressed credit field I analyzed debt origination opportunities, secondary acquisitions and various restructurings within Colony's portfolio.
