I coordinated… Show more As Director of Promotions, my duties ranged from keeping our private banquet room scheduled with private parties to planning and managing large scale events.Events included the widely known River City Rod Run where we brought in headlining artists, such as Bret Michaels and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. That event drew more than 30,000 visitors over the weekend. I personally made contact and brought in dozens of paying vendors to fill available booth space at the event. I coordinated with all parties involved in the event, including food/beverage sellers, vendors, advertisers, paid talent, ticket sales, and more in order to maintain the event's strict schedule and all-around guest experience. Prior to the event, I traveled across Washington state to other popular hot rod shows to promote our event in Post Falls, ID to bring in as many high caliber hot rod cars as possible.Other local events I planned included motorcycle rallies and hot rod cruises. Each with live bands and contests. Many of these types of events drew well over 1,000 people to our restaurant's premises.During the NFL season, I planned, promoted, and orchestrated the season-long Seahawks game day parties in our bar and lounge. I personally brought in sponsors that provided giveaways for our game day contests. I negotiated our radio advertising contract with Clear Channel Radio, as well as brought in popular 98.9 KKZX deejays to run the weekly events. Show less
