Warehouse Operator
CurrentThis job requires me to drive a forklift to organize product in the warehouse. I organize finished product as well as raw ingredients in First-in , first-out order (FIFO). I am also regularly required to ship and receive and file paperwork necessary for those processes. Organizing finished product requires multitasking as there is usually little available space in the warehouse. I am required to consolidate product as it comes off the line and then organize other flavors that have room to store in the racks. I am also required to drop everything to unload trucks and be able to return where I left off. Finally I must be able to rotate between loading a truck, organizing product and consolidating new product that has no dedicated location. Teamwork and communication skills are necessary for this position as we must be efficient to conserve battery power and avoid pedestrian workers whose paths I cross with every pallet. Attention to detail and surrounding circumstances are necessary for the safety of all involved.
