About Elijah K. Mujuri

Elijah Mujuri is a seasoned and experienced program manager with over 15 years’ experience in the horn of Africa in the areas of participatory community development and empowerment approaches.Elijah is a specialist in environment and natural resource management, climate change adaptations, renewable energy (mitigation) & drought early warning systems, resource mobilization, project cycle management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning systems (MERL), and result-based project management and theory of change approaches.Elijah is also expert in food security and Livelihoods programming in pastoral and agro pastoral settings in East Africa. I am a competent, analytical and self-motivated individual, capable of working under pressure. I am a leader with excellent communication skills. I have hands on experience in managing both national and regional based projects and programmes. I have worked extensively in Kenya and with pastoral communities of Uganda.Previously, Elijah has worked as a Climate Change, Environment and Natural resource Management Technical Officer / Consultant with Community development Trust Fund. He is also the current chairman of Meru County Wildlife Conservation and Compensation Committee (CWCCC); created by Wildlife Management and Conservation Act, 2013 to enhance wildlife management and Conservation for our heritage and posterity.
