Responsible for handling transactions face-to-face and over telecommunications, while at the same time preparing, logging, and scanning transactions prior and after they are completed. Also completing day-to-day tasks, such as preparing money orders, teller station maintenance, and acting as receptionist on occasion for customers. Duties• Preparing night transactions for deposit or payment.• Handling transactions ranging from cashing checks, to making deposits, and withdrawals• Transferring funds over the phone and face-to-face.• Providing inquiries into account information and providing statements if needed by the account holder.• Selling cashier’s checks and money orders to customers, while completing OFAC reports as needed.• Assisting the head teller and other tellers in their transactions whenever appropriate.• Logging and scanning finished transactions onto our electronic banking system.• Preforming daily tasks as required by the institution, ranging from counting currency to cleaning and maintaining the teller areas.
