Ever since I was a little kid, I have been fascinated by electricity. Something that nobody can physically see that essentially runs our world today. So you can probably imagine my parents' frustration when all my toys would be taken apart, parts thrown all about my room as I tried to figure out how they worked. This is what led to my love for engineering and electronics specifically. I love the ability to create, to be able to make something from nothing but parts. I dive head first into any project I can find, from simple gadgets with servo motors to complex sensor platforms. I can't get enough of it. This passion for electronics led me to Fitchburg State, where I was able to exponentially expand my knowledge in the field with a hands-on style of learning. I learned all I could about the math that goes into these circuits and design, from current analysis to Boolean algebra. I learned about all different components and how to use them effectively. I was able to see the vastness of the field I was entering, and this only made me even more excited. I am very grateful for every opportunity that I get to learn more about the field and myself, and I am grateful that those opportunities will never stop coming.
