Every person deserves the sense of purpose that comes from putting in a day’s work where their skills, education/training, or interests are being put to good use and appreciated by their community. Every employee and self-employed person also deserves the dignity of knowing their contributions are properly valued in the labor market, leading to a life of financial stability for themselves and their families. This second part (self-sufficiency) can be complicated to achieve in American society given the many economic and personal factors affecting businesses and individuals. I don’t have answers to any of the largest questions of economic policy. What I do have is a knack for analyzing complex information related to career pathways and occupations, as well as the ability to remember the people behind the numbers. I think quality data can be very helpful to our current and future workforce as they envision their opportunities or plan out a sustainable path towards training or career change. Please feel free to reach out to me if I can provide any assistance in this area!
