In the fall of 2023, I joined the Class of 2026 at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington to major in Accounting. I am working towards a minor in Spanish. I will complete my course work as a Wells Scholar, Hutton Honors student, and Kelley Business Honors student. I will serve as a Tax Intern in KPMG's Indianapolis office during the summer of 2025.I grew up on a family farm in a very small town called Farmland in Indiana. My time on the farm first established my work-ethic, time management, and other skills, and it was also my first introduction into accounting since I got to help my dad with the books and taxes. Moreover, I grew up in the Church, so my faith has always been something that I cherished to the point that I got involved with community outreach programs through my Church and eventually my school, Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School. After graduating, I decided to spread my wings and go to Indiana University. I made it my mission to get myself involved to make a large public university feel like a small community. I am now involved in Wells Activism and Volunteer Effort (WAVE), Student Accounting Society (SAS), and Campus Crusaders for Christ (CRU). Eventually, I hope to take the skills that I learned back to my home community so that I can share my knowledge and help others out just as my community has helped me get to where I am today.Interests: Spanish | Mission Trips | Playing Soccer | Weightlifting | Chess
