I started working at McDonald's in September of 2017 while I was a senior in high school. I became a manager in the summer of 2021, working there during my time off from university. I attended UCSB from September of 2018 to December of 2021, graduating a couple quarters early. The most important skills that I have perfected and honed over the course of my life are critical thinking, research and analytical skills, and writing. My education in history at UCSB entailed a great deal of reading, writing, and researching, including the tedious task of adequately supporting my arguments in essays by finding and subsequently citing my evidence. The meticulous nature of much of my education has brought me many moments of annoyance and frustration, however it is because of this aspect that my attention to detail and ability to analyze and reason are so strong. No matter what job I end up pursuing, I know that my skills, hard work, and desire to succeed will make me a strong candidate for it. If I get the job, I am confident that my skills will allow me to have an immensely successful career.
