About Eli Wright
I'm a junior at University of Alabama in Huntsville beginning my career in aeronautical engineering. I hope to eventually focus on hypersonic vehicle design, but am also interested in drone swarms and jetpacks. I earned an Associate of Engineering from Delaware County Community College as a homeschooled high schooler and worked as an engineering intern at nth Solutions LLC in the Summer and Fall of 2023 and Spring of 2024.At the University of Alabama in Huntsville, I plan to participate in rotorcraft research, intern in a private sector aerospace company, and earn both a Bachelor's and a Master's in Aerospace Engineering.As a hobby, I design and test 3D printed model rocket hardware using Fusion 360 and SolidWorks. I also have experience writing code for robotics in MATLAB, Python, JavaScript, and C++ and designing fluid power systems and electric circuits.
