Plan and teach 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade English language arts in a public charter school serving low-income, inner-city Phoenix students.

Teach the following courses at the University of Transylvania in Brașov, Romania: Text Analysis 2, Text Analysis 3, and The Rhetoric of American Discourse.

Assist with the day to day living of the mentally handicapped.

Used hand-held-computers to collect data and update maps for the 2010 Census. Conducted interviews in the community for the 2010 census.

Trained in how to teach classical texts to grades 6-12 using the Socratic Method. Taught Algebra I and Intro to Physics. Helped train and lead two wilderness experience groups. One for a week by Knik glacier and another for a week long cross country skiing/camping trip to the Alaska pipeline.

The clients at ARCH are chemically dependent teenagers; many of whom are in treatment because they got in trouble with the law. I helped supervise their daily activities including recreational outings, chores, school, and treatment work. I was trained in the treatment of addiction using the 12 step program used by Alcoholics Anonymous.

Trained in online and distance learning software. Taught using Switched-On Schoolhouse distance learning software.

Worked at the music library desk and taught a music notation class for Freshman. Operated kilns and maintained ceramics studio facilities. Taught ceramics class for students over the summer.

Planned activities and enforced school policies on a freshman hall.

2003- 2005.Trained in throwing, glazing, jigger press operation, pug mill operation, and kiln operation. Helped sell our own pottery, and the work of other artists. Set up displays, managed cash register and counted drawers at the beginning and the end of the day.

Worked as a camp counselor and pottery instructor for children ages 6-16 with serious and chronic illness such as Hemophilia, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, HIV, Cancer, and many other life threatening illnesses.

Dressed in costume and interpreted 18th century farm and gristmill site for visitors. I completed a research project on 18th century banjo music among slaves at Mount Vernon, and built a gourd banjo that is now part of the farm site interpretation.
