I am a bilingual school counselor at Redwood High School, part of the Tamalpais Union High School District, in Marin County. As a member of an interdisciplinary team including counselors, teachers, Wellness staff, administration, and community partners, I develop, coordinate, and deliver a program that supports students' academic, social-emotional, and career development. My work includes individual counseling, academic planning, postsecondary planning and applications, developing student support plans (general education, 504, IEP), facilitating counseling workshops and presentations, and making referrals to additional support when appropriate. I also work closely with several others at Redwood to serve our English language learner students and families. My focus is on building relationships to empower students to be their best and collaborating with school and community stakeholders.
