This internship focuses on supporting the work of the Global Commission on the Economics of Water, principally in terms of, * Supporting the international research and thematic policy workstreams in the preparation of the GCEW Final Report.* Contribute to the report launch and beyond, including the engagement process supporting dissemination and coalition building.

This was a Sciences Po and HSBC joint project challenge to evaluate and benchmark Scope 3 emissions disclosure practices and provide innovative recommendations based on our findings. My efforts centered on the novel disclosure practices pertaining to emissions from agriculture, forestry, and other land use (FLAG), specifically analyzing three companies committed to the SBTi (Science Based Targets). The project yielded valuable insights into Scope 3 emissions measurement, target-setting, and reporting. The culmination of this effort was the creation of a comprehensive white paper, showcasing our recommendations for enhancing Scope 3 disclosure practices.

Coordination of Sweden's Strategic Environmental Cooperation with BRICS Countries* Oversaw project reporting and evaluation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.* Conducted economic monitoring and provided support to project managers.* Organized coordination meetings with the Ministry of Environment and four participating government agencies.* Enhanced and streamlined project reporting and evaluation processes, promoting greater synergy between projects.Facilitation of activities to bolster North Macedonia's capacity for EU accession in the environmental field* Supported the implementation of a course on EU environmental legislation for young civil servants in North Macedonia.* Supported the organization of a workshop on wetland management and protected areas for officials from various ministries and entities dedicated to nature protection and Natura 2000.* Project design and development.

* Contributed to the Division for International Affairs’ ongoing work, in particular Sweden’s and the EU’s engagement with the UN Environment Programme and the UN Environment Assembly, as well as planning and prioritizing the Minister for Climate and Environment’s office’s international activities* Assisted in the development of supporting documents, instructions, and Sweden’s position for both global and EU-internal meetings* Analyzed texts and reports, as well as drafted meeting reports * With support from the assigned mentor and in cooperation with other colleagues at the ministry, been responsible for planning, preparing, and carrying out the Ministry of the Environment’s Youth Council inviting Swedish youth civil society organizations for consultations

The International Cooperation Unit at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency coordinates and engages in bilateral and multilateral environmental cooperation. As an intern, I supported two projects: * EU-accession on Chapter 27 in the EU acquis in North Macedonia * Environmental Governance Programme about environmental governance within the UN system in collaboration with UNEPTasks included procurement, programming, and reporting to the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and the Swedish Ministry for Environment.
