With over 15 years of experience in the kitchen appliances industry, I have dedicated my career to enhancing the home cooking experience for busy Singaporeans. I began my journey with Teka on July 1, 2009, as a sales executive, quickly rising to become the top sales personnel by building strong relationships with industry partners and interior designers. My commitment and collaborative approach earned me the 'BEST SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR' award from 2014 to 2024, presented by Ciseern, a market leader in Singapore's interior design industry.In 2018, when Teka decided to exit the Singapore market, I was honoured to be entrusted with the sole distributorship of the brand, a testament to the trust in my capabilities and the support from my industry peers. Managing and representing a global brand as a new start-up, my responsibilities expanded exponentially from sales to encompassing the entire business process—after-sales, operations, logistics, finance, and even repair works at times. This invaluable experience has enabled me to connect every line to see and understand the bigger picture and work through every aspect of it.After six years, I am proud to have become a proficient leader in the home appliances industry. In July 2024, we launched the Teka Singapore Experience Centre, designed to educate, inspire, and enable healthier home cooking.This milestone is just the beginning. I am now on a journey to discover new brands to work with and develop our own products and services where I believe our skill sets can make a difference and have a lasting impact.
