Research Foundation for Studies and Education Otus

The Finnish Student Sports Federation OLL, founded 1924, is a national advocacy and service organisation working on behalf of Finnish student sports. OLL is the common representative for all Finnish students at higher education institutions. The federation engages in advocacy, support, education, research while also operating in the national and international communities on behalf of student sports.Main activities and responsibilities: Leading the office, acting as a supervisor, enforcing board decisions, lobbying, co-operation with stakeholders and international co-operation. Also responsible for the equality issues of the Union.

Jalkautuva naistyö - Naisen hyvinvoinnin vahvistaminen väkivaltaa ennaltaehkäisevänä tekijänä (2015-2017) -project. Funded by Sosiaali- ja terveysjärjestöjen avustuskeskus (STEA).Main activities and responsibilities: Project management, evaluation, reporting to the financier, budgeting and co-operation with the project partners. The aim of the project has been to develop a model for outreach domestic violence work, increase civic activity in preventing domestic violence and to increase public awareness of the domestic violence. In addition communication tasks, for example renewing web service Nettiturvakoti (www.nettiturvakoti.fi): planning and building new structure, planning and writing new content and updating all the old texts.

Development Programme Valtava (Sukupuolten tasa-arvon edistäminen ja valtavirtaistaminen)Funded by European Social Fund. Main activities and responsibilities: Responsibility of the development program tasks, mainly to coordinate and implement nationwide communication campaign “Valitse ala päällä, älä alapäällä” and research project “Sukupuolinäkökulma työ- ja elinkeinotoimistojen palveluihin”. Participation to The European Community of Practice on Gender Mainstreaming (Gender CoP) network in national and international level. Petra – Getting young people to work and education – project, City of Vantaa Funded by European Social Found Main activities and responsibilities: Gender mainstreaming in Employment Services; to ensure that gender perspectives are included in all areas of decision-making. Teaching how employees incorporate the gender perspective in their own work. Creating a manual for Employment Services that teaches how to evaluate gender influences in employment project at City of Vantaa. Substitute for the Project Manager.

Main activities and responsibilities: Overall coordination and management of student activity and trusteeship in Akava according to Akava´s and Akava´s Student Councils strategies and plans. Co-operation and lobbying with key interest partners and stakeholders (such as politicians and other NGOs). Financial management and overall responsibility on financial aspects of Akava´s student section. Reporting to Akava´s and Akava´s Student Councils chairpersons.
