As an Energy Markets Specialist I primarily worked with short term energy optimisation including consumption forecasting, physical energy trading, and production planning. My daily work combined continuous production monitoring, trading, balance responsibilities, and day-ahead planning. Our production portfolio consisted of natural gas and biomass fired combined heat and power plants, waste incineration, hydro power, wind power and hot water boilers fueled by varied energy sources. Continuous production monitoring and optimisation were also vital parts of the job.Work requires analytic thinking, accuracy and good decision making skills.

Diverse back office functions also involved use of customers CRM and ERP. Fast paced contact center work requires solid IT-skills and constant internalization of change. Adaptation and effectivity were my best traits in this position.

I imported most of the assortment and served retail customers via web and a brick-and-mortar store. I also took part in fairs and retreats, both selling products and teaching classes. Running a store naturally involved mainly sales and customer service. I also handled online orders and daily upkeep of the over 2000 item web store. Web services were outsourced but I participated in every stage of purchasing, specifications, graphic design and product upkeep.I followed trends, actively listened customers and constantly searched for new brands and products to represent. Paperilohikäärme also commissioned its own line of stamps. Keeping in touch with producers and wholesalers all over the world was a vital part of business.Creating projects and blogging together with our desing team, active group of craft bloggers, was a big part of online marketing. I also constantly searched for blog and magazine collaboration opportunities and took part on various craft challences as a sponsor. I offered courses, workshops and craft themed parties for private customers and different organizations. Some of the courses were created on specific products or techniques and were offered as packages. With organizations workshops were planned together to suit their needs, were it WHP or creating products for sale.Back office functions apart from accounting were all my responsibilities. These mainly consisted on customs handling, sales account agreements, ledgers upkeeping and interns related paperwork.

I searched for new buying routes and contacts, made products suggestions and took part in pricing.
