About Eline De Kat

As the Artistic Coordinator at Opéra de Monte-Carlo for over 20 years, I do casting for opera productions, events and festivals, negotiating contracts, as well as on developing young artists projects and masterclasses. With our new Directors Cecilia Bartoli and Oliver Widmer I continue working on engaging high level Artists for our season. I have a strong background in theater studies, with a MA from the University of Utrecht, and a passion for the performing arts industry.From 2019 until July 2023, I also worked as the Orchestra Manager for Les Musiciens du Prince-Monaco, a baroque orchestra managed by the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and led by Artistic Director Cecilia Bartoli and Music Director Gianluca Capuano. This involved recruiting musicians, coordinating rehearsals, and overseeing logistics for concerts and tours. I have a keen interest and expertise in opera, classical and baroque music, as well as skills in piano, singing, film, events and festivals. I am fluent in English, Dutch, Italian, and French, and have some knowledge of German and Serbian.
