I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Sustainable Finance at the University of Maastricht. I started my academic journey at the University of Groningen where I did my Bachelor's thesis which focused on multinationals' effect on social development goals in developing countries. This topic briefly introduced me to impact investment which ultimately led me to develop an interest in Sustainable Finance. I am currently enjoying my master's and have already developed a wide range of knowledge in Sustainable Finance.Current Areas of Expertise:- Integrating climate risk into corporate finance valuations- Knowledge of climate finance and sustainable investments- Currently advancing my knowledge in institutional investmentI hope to still gain knowledge on the following:- Expanding expertise in sustainable real estate practices- Developing a deeper understanding of impact investment strategiesAdditionally, I have just started writing my Master’s thesis which will focus on the impact of information on the biodiversity impact of companies on institutional investors. I am eager to contribute to the evolving field of sustainable finance, leveraging my expertise to advance financial practices incorporating environmental considerations and long-term resilience.
