I continued with my research that began during my internship. This led to the publishing of a FEDS Note at https://www.federalreserve.gov/econres/notes/feds-notes/international-measures-of-common-inflation-20211105.htm.I produce data analysis and visualizations along with economic summaries for advanced economies such as the euro area, UK, Canada, and Japan to aid monetary policy briefers. I collaborate with economists on research papers to advance the economic analysis used by the Board. I contribute to a team that briefs policy makers on economic trends and their weight on policy. This involves creating figures and data for briefings and materials given to the Board of Governors and the FOMC. Research assistants have an important role in tracking and forecasting macroeconomic activity and monetary policy developments in smaller advanced foreign economies. I also author memos on foreign economies given to Governors before meetings with foreign leaders.

I conducted office hours twice a week to help 40 to 70 students with the course material. I also wrote and graded five problem sets throughout the course. The course focused on explaining concepts such as probability, empirical analysis, causation, and regression.

I was awarded the 2019-2020 University Scholar Program Stipend for my research that aims to determine utility maximizing candidates for select populations based on polling and economic data.I worked with a mentor in the Economics department throughout my research. I was technical director for the student fellow run podcast within the Bob Graham Center, Let's Talk Gainesville. My duties involved managing the recording equipment, monitoring recording sessions, editing the audio tracks, and uploading the final project. I was leader of investment meetings where different market strategies and algorithms are discussed while competing in an inter-organization investment challenge.

I was a student representative of the Bob Graham Center for Public Service. The goal of this organization is to encourage political discussion and involvement among the student body. I promoted public service around campus through service projects and student run events.

I was a research assistant to a doctorate researcher in the Economics department. My duties in my first project involved collecting data on the effect that teacher union negotiation tactics had on teacher salaries in the second half of the twentieth century.My second project, with a different researcher, involved replicating regression discontinuity designs in R for statistical research. My work on this project at the end of Spring 2019 turned into a paid research assistant position for May of 2019.

Research intern aiding economic forecasting in the Advanced Foreign Economies (AFE) Section of the Division of International Finance.I implemented a dynamic factor model that extracts an alternative measure of core inflation as a common factor from inflation components. I applied the model to six countries while identifying and adjusting for differences in data reporting and economic characteristics amongst the different governments.

I contributed to the development of a web-based software for mortgage lending companies. I developed a function that would retrieve house listings within a given zip code in a given price range using API requests and C#. I was also given the personal project of making a request and printing the results of the retrieved list in a basic html table using javaScript and jQuery.
