Leeds, United Kingdom

I was responsible for the recruitment, training and coaching for SME Telesales staff based in Leeds and Solihull. I managed a team of trainers, coaches and a recruitment specialist, who identified potential candidates, bringing them into the business, inducting them and offering ongoing coaching.

Nepal

During the months of September and October I worked as a volunteer in Nepal for PoD. I was involved in a number of different projects, including a nursery day care centre, a street kids rehabilitation centre and several primary schools. I was expected to organise and deliver different games and activities, help with homework, and encourage the children to improve their conversational English. The role required me to use a number of skills including leadership, organisation and teamwork, in order to overcome challenges and provide a rewarding experience for the children with whom I interacted on a daily basis.

Uk & Ireland

I was accountable for the L&D agenda for the Overseas based resort teams, inducting over 600 new employees each year and developing training programmes for first line and senior managers. I introduced a Management Development Programme, which 30 Resort Managers successfully completed over a period of 3 years and which was recognised for an internal Achievement Award. Following on from that I took responsibility for several UK & Ireland business areas and introduced the Management Development Programme into these areas, tailoring the content to suit the business area and customers. I currently focus on Contact Centres, and I'm heavily involved in a Lean Capability initiative to improve AHT's, first call resolution and Customer Satisfaction results.
