I had the global responsibility for availability of one of IKEA’s most profitable and important ranges, Kitchen doors. As a member of the product development team, I worked with purchase planning and logistics. It requires daily contact with Supply planners/ purchasers and suppliers all over the world to secure the best flow of goods, as well as being in close contact with the local markets to inform about availability situation and future range changes.
