I am social purpose advocate in the nonprofit sector with a wide range of experience in local, national and international organizations. I am also an enthusiastic recovering chef and invite people to sit at my "table" in an effort to highlight partnerships that we can use to help address the basic needs of all people in a community with dignity and respect. I have built projects that address housing, hunger, access to resources, child advocacy and true social mobility. My specialties include: nonprofit management, strategic planning, financial/grants management, marketing and PR, human resources, fundraising, social enterprise, baking and food obsession (in spare time).Currently, I am the executive director of Federated Charities in Frederick Maryland where I put my skills to use in raising the profile of this important safety net and nonprofit center for local nonprofits and which occupies a unique physical and emotional space in our community (I also make sure the lights stay on).If you're interested in grabbing a cup of coffee (because there's never really enough coffee is there???) and finding out how I went from being an anthropologist to living the dream in the nonprofit world, shoot me an email or message.
