Asker builds and acquires companies within medical supplies, devices and equipment in Europe. In my position, I am part of establishing the Group Legal function. My focus areas are Corporate Governance, general company law related matters, GDPR and IP/Tech. In addition to that, I am handling other matters such as e.g., M&A, non-disclosure agreements, monitoring new legislation affecting Asker Group and ultimate beneficial owner questions. I am also heading the Group’s Data Privacy Network and have been involved in ESG reporting.

Established the Data Protection function for OneMed Group, operating in the Nordics, Baltics and the Netherlands where I successfully implemented the GDPR. My main tasks were to:- Provide general counselling and training to subsidiaries - Conduct internal audits - Follow up on internal and external audits- Run improvement projects- Draft and negotiate data processing agreements and IT related agreements- Ensure good quality of reporting channels and routines (e.g., personal data breaches)The role required leadership skills and ability to communicate complex matters to a wide range of people in different countries.

AWA (former AWAPATENT AB) is a leading intellectual property firm with presence in Europe and Asia. In my position as Associate my main tasks were to:- Provide advice to clients, draft trademark applications and answer to office actions- Register transactions of IP rights before the Swedish and EU IPR offices and coordinating such in other jurisdictions- Monitor trademark portfoliosIn the position, I was in contact with several parties such as clients, authorities and attorneys. The clients were mainly operating in the IT and manufacturing business, consisting of start-ups and global actors.

The final part of the studies in business law was spent in the legal team at AWA.

During the University summer breaks, I was working as a Nursing Assistant. The Nursing Assistant role taught me a lot about people and how to communicate and build trust in different circumstances.
