As someone who prides himself on being an advocate and public speaker on mental health, Eliot Davis has dedicated his energy and time to raising awareness and removing the stigmas that society has placed around mental health and those who deal with these issues. With a background in psychology, education, addiction counseling and military experience coupled with his own struggles with mental health, Eliot Davis brings his own fresh perspective to the table surrounding the topic of mental health. Enduring his own struggles with mental health and the impact it has had on those around him, Eliot brings his unique passion and pain from his story to help motivate and inspire those who may also be struggling. His ability to deliver his truth from a place of peace and love creates an environment where people can feel supported, understand that they are not alone and to seek the necessary help to begin to learn how to heal. During his speaking engagements, Eliot will address topics from depression, ptsd, and anxiety amongst others. Outside of speaking on those topics the focus will be on giving the listener the understanding that “Its ok to not be ok. Don’t suffer in silence.” With emphasizing this theme, the importance of self-care and using your resources when in need will also be key aspects of conversation. Eliot’s speaking style has already landed him speaking engagements at high schools in California with more opportunities in the works. He is committed to helping people except the truths about who they are and what they deal with and creating a safe environment around them in the process.
