I thrive at the intersection of creativity and education. By day, I’m immersed in my role as a Learning and Organisational Development Coordinator Apprentice at Hammersmith & Fulham Council. Here I tackle internal staff queries while coordinating our Learning Management System—think of it as being part librarian, part administrator, and part coach! I also get to create engaging training sessions for staff members that not only inform but inspire growth.My educational journey has been quite diverse. I've worked across various levels—from primary schools to supporting severely autistic teenagers—and each experience has shaped my understanding of learning needs. My keen eye for safeguarding ensures that every student feels safe while exploring their potential. It’s gratifying to see someone grasp a concept they struggled with before.When night falls, my creative side takes over! As a published cartoonist featured in The Morning Star (and soon elsewhere), I pour my thoughts into illustrations that spark conversations about current events. Being part of the Professional Cartoonists’ Organisation allows me to connect with fellow artists who share this passion for storytelling through art.I've also led the development and curation of both group and personal exhibitions, which have been extremely well attended and in some cases have led to other opportunities and press in national and local newspapers. In my practice I've dabbled in gif animation and logo design—skills I've honed over years of practice while juggling multiple teaching assistant positions. I am always available for freelance opportunities. Outside work hours? You might find me sketching cartoon ideas or attending local art events where I can share knowledge about visual storytelling techniques with budding artists. I am also an amateur coder, teaching myself through online lessons and personal development to code an artist website with numerous interactive elements. I also create visual assets for this website with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator being my primary tools for this.
