I am self employed while going to college for Computer Science. My business is focused on high-end custom carpentry where I create the CAD designs for client and stakeholders, and create the custom works. I own a CNC machine that takes my custom designs and cuts out the custom design from raw material. This is a unique process that I am able to do at a customers home rather than a large machine shop because of the self developed software system and building methodologies learned throughout years of experience in project management and construction.I am using this opportunity to develop software solutions to tackle real world problems and see how the results impact my projects in a high stakes environment. So far they have been successful in being implemented.
