Competed at the National Model United Nations Conference in New York, an international collegiate competition consisting of over 3,000 participants ranging from 50 countries, in which I was awarded the Outstanding Delegation Award for advocacy on healthy sustainable aging and preserving the rights of climate refugees at the National Model United Nations Conference in New York and the Distinguished Issue Briefing for research on Polish policy regarding sustainable economic development in rural areas and minimizing economic shock in a global economy. Additionally, I authored a 25-page paper regarding international framework with the aim to preserve the rights of climate refugees in consensus with 50 other students which was passed unanimously in a 150-person committee.Also competed in the Texas Model United Nations Conference, a state level collegiate competition consisting of over 200 participants ranging from 30 separate higher education institutions, where I was awarded the Most Outstanding Position Paper Award for a paper regarding the United States Security Council’s stance on Somalia and Climate Change and the Distinguished Delegation Award for in-conference contributions on motioning toward vote and debate, giving speeches, and negotiating policy.

As a representative of Texas Rising, I was chosen to testify at the Texas Capitol to advocate for House Bill 644 which would require polling locations at all general academic institutions with a population of 8,000 students while calling for the elimination of House Bill 7 which would incriminate asylum seekers at the Southern border that did not enter through the limited port entries. I have assisted with on-campus activism by registering my classmates to vote and assisting in campuswide charity drives. Additionally, I attended and helped organize Texas Day of Action in response to the Jackson v. Dobbs decision with Waco Democratic Socialists.

Informed District 86 voters of the special election primary for the Tennesee House of Representatives following the suspension and reinstatement of State Representative Justin J. Pearson. Additionally, I elaborated on Rep. Pearson’s policies on gun control, clean water, and education to inquiring voters.

Represented Senator Raphael Warnock as a part of the Working Families Party where I informed Georgian voters of polling times and locations for Senate runoff while answering questions regarding his policies.
