My latest role within Ted has been an achievement of my hard work during my time in the retail division Becoming Menswear manager at our stand-alone flagship store on Regent Street has really given me the opportunity to express myself within a location. Looking after a large team and being responsible of the day to day running of our store. This role has really allowed me to express myself in terms of how to manage, and exploit the best out of a team and a location, that I am really passionate about. This creativity, parallel to the ever-changing days in retail, shows a real ability to think on my feet and anticipate the decisions that need to be made, to really optimise the wealth of our location. The success of this role shows I am also able to stabilise good business with other assets such as logistics, marketing and finance management. I believe that all my roles, both at the merchandising side of the company and retail have allowed me to intertwine an array of skills that round off a great understanding of the business. Further supporting me in the execution of a great managerial outlook on my role. Other tasks I was also involved with: • Run sales analysis to optimise sales potentials.• Visually and commercially analyse the shop floor.• Lead in tasks such as interviews, reviews, recorded conversations and disciplinaries.• Oversee the team logistics, planning tasks that need to be completed on a daily and weekly basis to benefit the location. My previous role for Ted Baker was working within the retail division of the business as part of a strong team consisting of allocators, assistant merchandisers and a senior merchandising team. The role requires high levels of organisational skills in order to comply with the fast paced day to day assignments. Giving myself another perspective on how the retail business runs and to have a back of house impact on its success.The role includes:- Daily liaising with the Senior Merchandisers in trade meetings, to optimise the success of the business decisions. - Running daily reports - adhering to strict deadlines - Daily communications with stores and the warehouse to gather further information which, can be key in further supporting the business. - Liaising with other departments - such as the Buying and Studio teams in order to discuss various issues such as delivery dates and style.

I Began my retail journey with Ted Baker as a Sales Assistant – within 5 months of employment I received two promotions, resulting in my current dual role as store Supervisor & Visual Merchandiser. Later taking the role of Stand In Assistant Manager. Throughout my time in this role I had to demonstrate high levels of organisational skills, in order to plan daily targets and tasks that were to be complete. This combined with the organisation and demonstration of ideas that would benefit the location further into the future.
