Always working my hardest to improve my hard and soft skills. A good leader needs both. I believe persistence and curiosity are the keys to unlocking every potential. I seek growth (professional and personal) by continuously abandoning my comfort area. I love challenges and most importantly the wisdom that comes along the journey of overcoming them. While I work hard for plan A to succeed, I always have a plan B, and by understanding that things may not always go my way I am not scared to pivot to plan Z (I have pivoted plenty so far). I am a scholar at heart and try to learn from every situation. What happens to us must not determine our future, our attitude towards it should. Hence, I refuse to lose. I either win or learn. I believe my attitude and mindset is what sets me apart. While I have plenty of highly sought-after technical skills, I value my soft skills most. That's why, aside from improving my programming and overall problem solving expertise, I constantly focus on increasing my emotional intelligence, self awareness, communication skills, and leadership abilities.

Systems Engineering Co-OpSumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. Jan 2018 - Sep 2018Bowling Green, Ky, UsI worked as a Systems Engineering co-op at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems (SEWS) for almost a year. I was part of two different rotational projects (Ford division, Chrysler division) that lasted about five months each. During the first project, I developed wire harness designs for multiple Ford car models using Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD) and drafting software systems (Zuken E3). The learning curve was steep because I had to adapt and master, with minor guidance, a variety of tools and new software. During this rotation, I worked with a large team of engineers and I was assigned weekly/biweekly tasks whose completion was time sensitive to the overall project deadlines that the department had to meet.During this position, I recognized the crucial value of teamwork, and how to become a reliable and vivid part of my team. -
Research AssistantUniversity Of Michigan College Of Engineering May 2017 - May 2018Ann Arbor, Mi, UsFor three semesters, I was part of the CCSFP and Changing Gears research fellowship offered by the UROP program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During this fellowship, I worked as a research assistant for two different projects. The first project studied the role of High Energy Density Physics phenomena and their role in the stars and planet formation. Laser energy was used to compress capsules filled with gas types of high density and pressure. My task was to improve an existing gas station to precisely fill and monitor the pressure on the capsules more accurately. After researching and consulting with my project mentor, I redesigned the entire station. The new design was built, using Adobe Inventor, inside the frame of a Pelican Case so that it could be carried easier. To guarantee the precision of the station, I used Swagelok pipes that endured high atmospheric pressure. Also, I implemented to the design and programmed two transducers connected with digital meters that were used to constantly monitor the pressure on the gas capsules. The new designed was a success and the team immediately started using it for their experiments. The second project examined/predicted human decision-making in the stock market using Behavioral Game Theory concepts. First, we collected data and used Excel to perform the desired calculations that studied the trend of certain stocks. Afterward, we created MATLAB/Python functions that optimized the portfolio of an individual based on their risk-taking willingness. -
