Hello! My name is Elisa (she/her) and I am a recent graduate of the kinesiology program at McMaster University. As a kinesiology student, I had the amazing opportunity to explore various facets of health and well-being. Over the last few years, I garnered great appreciation and interest for holistic practices and how they can affect one’s well-being, specifically in conjunction with psychological approaches. In addition to my kinesiology major, I pursued a minor in psychology with courses such as Social Psychology, Personality, Forensic Psychology as well as Human Learning and Cognition.Aside from my academics, I devote time to my passion for creative writing and progress my leadership skills through a variety of volunteer and work experiences. My work with McMaster's student newspaper, the Silhouette, has taught me the value of working in a dynamic team environment. As the News Editor, I was able to work with other members of the team to coordinate and produce meaningful articles. Now, as a recent graduate, I hope to explore different paths that will allow me to continue collaborating with others in creative ways.
