During my primary education, schools were quickly transitioning to an increasingly computer-friendly curriculum. At the time, we worked with large, boxy, desktop computers that hummed and froze up every session. However, it was still an eye-opening experience that pushed me to pursue a passion in computer science. I am currently a transfer junior at University of Illinois Chicago, where I am studying new programming languages, algorithms, and practices to build on the foundation that my experiences and prior education has been built on. As I continue to pursue my bachelor's degree in computer science, I have started learning F# and Go. I've completed courses on data structures and am further developing my understanding through my coursework and independent projects.
