Elisa was born and raised in South Florida and graduated from Florida Atlantic University where she grew up. After a 14-year career as a 9th Grade English Teacher, Elisa decided to change careers to work in Addiction and Mental Health, a choice inspired by her journey in Recovery. Elisa has 12 years of long-term sobriety sober date of 9/18/2011 which is the purpose for her doing service and helping others. She was involved in charity and in 2013 she raised several thousand dollars for CF and won Palm Beach’s Finest Women of the Year for Cystic Fibrosis. Also, she is one of the founding board members for Women Empowering Women PB, where to date they have several chapters and have sent several young women in Recovery to college. Elisa has over 10 years of experience doing Business Development in Addiction Treatment and Mental Health and Eating Disorders with both adolescents and adults. She is a CCAR Recovery Coach and Trainer as Break Free Intervention Trained by Brad Lamm. Elisa worked as the Clinical Outreach Manager at the Los Angeles Clinic for Amen Clinics. Elisa was the Clinical Outreach Representative at Center For Discovery and Discovery Mood and Anxiety in North Palm Beach, Florida Elisa returned back to Los Angeles as a Treatment Placement Specialist for the North Los Angeles and LA Territory for Acadia Healthcare as a resource for 12 facilities across the Country.She was the Hospital Community Liaison at Del Amo Behavioral Health System Del Amo’s offering mental health treatment and psychiatric hospital services. Served as Outreach Associate at Laguna Treatment Hospital covering North LA Territory. Former Outreach Specialist worked strategically from LA to OC for AKUA Behavioral Health Feb to May 2024.
