I've worked full time for a global tech client's music streaming platform in a contractor position.My role demanded a strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant, as well as the ability to proactively navigate large organizational structures, working in collaborative teams across multiple markets and within local and global strategic relations. Responsible for:• Editorial strategy: playlist curation, music research and content localization for Benelux, Spain and Portugal. Executing global campaigns at a local level. Listening, filtering and organizing hundreds of new and old releases on a weekly basis. Tracking listening behaviour and translating data analysis into actionable insights in order to maximize engagement. • Content management: programming and editing a high volume of digital music assets through various CMS systems and platforms, helping large user bases navigate, search and understand vast online catalogue offerings.

De School was a multidisciplinary cultural space offering a nightclub, concert venue, art exhibitions, restaurant, café and gym. It was one of the most celebrated venues for club culture and electronic music in Europe, and the third temporary project developed by Post CS, the company behind Club 11 and TrouwAmsterdam. Responsible for:• Music programming: - curating musical vision through forward-thinking artist bookings for more than 400 events per year including club nights, concerts and weekenders.- specialist on spotting musical trends and talent development, identifying emerging artists from an early stage and giving them the platfrom to develop their creative identity.- building a diverse local and international network of collaborators including established and upcoming artists, record labels, booking agencies and press contacts.- translating the research and analysis of cultural trends into an editorial line and content strategy.- negotiating artist fees.- artist liaison and hospitality.• Cultural programming: - developing a side programme of art exhibitions, screenings, performances, talks and lectures including collaborations with both grassroots organizations as well as prestigious institutions such as IDFA, Resident Advisor, Sandberg Instituut, Muziekgebouw, Subbacultcha, Mainline, Glamcult, Buma/Stemra, Sex Matters, Rush Hour or Children of the Light among many others.- project management from conception to execution.• Finance:- delivering quarterly reports and managing the budget for creative projects.
